Industrial hygienists are described as "scientists and engineers committed to protecting the health and safety of people in the workplace and the community. They evaluate the quality of the air inside a structure. Using various testing devices, these professionals collect air and surface samples to compare the indoor mold spore count to the outdoor environment.
